Plein Air is the fascination of painting and drawing outdoors, capturing real time light and subject. This class will introduce plein air painting and drawing, how to set up, what to study and create. Students will work outdoors and may travel to other locations to study new subjects. Take your Landscape Painting to a new level when you learn tips on how to compose a striking piece. A slide show presentation and follow along instructions to learn some neat hacks and tips. Learn the five elements of landscape art, applying color effects and easy ways to frame and show off your completed work.
CREATE AN ART JOURNAL VISION BOOK

Art Journaling is a visual diary--Not just writing down your dreams and goals, but using your creativity in a unique personalized way. This class will begin your art journaling by using several different methods to create your visions. Students- bring a wire bound sketch book 8 x 10 or 11 x 14. You will use collage, drawing, painting, and scrapbook techniques. Bring a few favorite photographs, or print out a loved poem, song or quote. There will be several subject prompts to start you on the unlimited ways to express yourself!
ACRYLIC ADVENTURES: LET’S PAINT THE COW!

The Bovine Beauty will come alive on your canvas! This is a study class that will focus on those soft doe eyes, wide floppy ears and her cute nose. You will learn some great techniques in painting fur and hair. You may bring a printed reference photo. Materials kit by request firstname.lastname@example.org. No experience required, but practice your “Moo!” and have fun!
